Fresh produce at the market from Fresh Roots Urban Farm starts this Saturday! Expect local, organic veggies grown on school sites throughout Vancouver.

Here is what to expect at the market this Saturday:

  • Bananas (Guat / Ecu & Organic)
  • Red Plums (Calif)
  • Oranges Navel (Calif)
  • Cucumbers (BC)
  • Red Peppers (BC)
  • Red Potatoes(BC)

So make sure to head down to this Saturday’s mobile market locations to stock up. We will be at  Kensington Community Centre from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and Brant Villa at 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Take a look at our mobile market locations for more info on how to find us.

  Sorry everyone due to the winter wonderland weather conditions we’ll have to cancel the market this Saturday.  Thanks for your understanding.  Stay warm, have a hot beverage, or venture outside and enjoy the snow while it last.  Skiing anyone? Or perhaps dive into a snow angel or build a snowman, relive some of those younger winter wonder days.

 
The last market for December will be on Dec 17 at Brant Villa 10:30am to 12:30pm and Kensington Community Centre from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
